Brad Pitt spilled his guts this week. The 53-year-old actor told GQ Style that his 12-year relationship with Angelina Jolie fell apart because he was ‘boozing’ too much and was not spending enough quality time with their six kids.
The day after the interview was released, E! News has claimed the Fury actor gave a head’s up to Jolie, who he is in the process of divorcing, before the issue hit newsstands. ‘He’s committed to having a healthy relationship with her,’ a source added.
Jolie has yet to comment on the tell-all interview where he also said he has been seeing a psychologist. ‘I just started therapy. I love it. I love it. I went through two therapists to get the right one,’ said the Allied star. He added the last six months since his marriage ended has been a ‘weird time.’ The star also said that all that time on the couch has made him realize he is ’emotionally retarded.’
It was reported last year by TMZ that Pitt was asked to enter therapy as part of the divorce. It was also claimed that he had to undergo sessions with Jolie and the kids as well. Together the stars have Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox.
