Keshia Knight Pulliam appeared on ‘Today’ Wednesday morning to discuss the Bill Cosby sex assault trial and her decision to very publicly support the comedian in court last week.

The 38-year-old actress and new mother refused however to defend the man himself, and acknowledged that Cosby had been with other women over the course of his 53 year marriage to wife Camille. When asked how she was able to stand by Cosby’s side despite all the women who have accused him of assault and his own admission that he had given drugs to females he wanted to have sex with, Pulliam said it was because the man is her family. She also said that even a guilty verdict in the case ‘won’t change the love’ she has for the alleged serial rapist.

Cosby meanwhile was seen arriving in court Wednesday just before 9am with spokesperson Andrew Wyatt. He had left the same building just 12 hours prior after the second day without a verdict in the case, yelling out his Fat Albert catchphrase as he walked by the media but not stopping to speak.
