Ava DuVernay made the big ask, and it was a yes from Sade.  The elusive British singer contributed a new original song to the soundtrack titled “Flower of the Universe.” Now, that song has finally been released thanks to its producer, No I.D. It marks the first new music by Sade in 7 years. The last new music released by her eponymous band consisted of bonus cuts from the 2011 compilation The Ultimate Collection. Prior to that, the last Sade studio album was 2010’s Soldier of Love.
