According to reports, JAY-Z has expanded his Roc Nation empire to include a television production division with a former Weinstein & Co. executive, Patrick Reardon, slated to run the division.
Variety broke the story stating: “As Roc Nation’s exec VP of scripted and unscripted television, Reardon will be responsible for building and running the TV department, focusing on developing and producing premium scripted and unscripted content.
Reardon is a veteran producer and executive who had served as exec VP and co-head of Weinstein Co.’s TV department since 2015.
“JAY-Z and Roc Nation have already completed a number of TV and film projects which include, Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story, and Time: The Kalief Browder Story.
