The founder & DJ of Boogie Down Productions, DJ Scott La Rock was celebrated Friday (May 19) by having a Bronx boulevard named in his honor. The legend responsible for the helping with classic “Criminal Minded” album and introducing the world to hip-hop cornerstone KRS-One, was shot and killed in the Bronx almost 30 years ago.
Now the intersection of Jerome Avenue & Kingsbridge Boulevard will carry hs name his son, Scott La Rock Jr., were among those in attendance.
