As Women’s History Month comes to a close, President Biden nominated three Black women to Federal Appeals Court.

Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson of Washington, DC is receiving attention and is considered a likely nominee to the Supreme Court Justice. The President ran on a campaign promise of seating a Black woman on the Supreme Court.

Also nominated are Tiffany Cunningham, to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, and Candace Jackson-Akiwumi, to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago.
