Donald Trump made what some say was a shocking admission during an interview on NBC’s TODAY Show. While the President-elect was being interviewed by Matt Lauer about his new TIME ‘Person of the Year’ honor, Trump was asked about his ongoing conversations with President Obama.  Trump said, among other things:

“I’ve now gotten to know President Obama, I really like him.”

“He loves the country. He wants to do right by the country.”
