US Military to Add Space Force Branch

Republicans and Democrats passed the 2020 National Defense Authorization Act setting the stage for President Trump’s idea of a Space Force into motion. The next step is a vote in the Senate and then on to Trump’s desk for his signature. The United States Space Force would be the sixth branch of the military and newest addition since 1947.
