Recently, a 19-year-old young woman claimed that the R. Kelly held her against her will and forced her to intake both drugs and alcohol before participating in sexual activity which supposedly resulted in the unnamed woman contracting a sexually transmitted disease.
In early April, the young woman filed a report with the Dallas, Texas Police Department claiming aggravated assault against the R&B singer for giving her an STD. Of course, R. Kelly’s legal representation has publicly denounced the young woman’s allegations.
Now, a leaked recording of a private conversation between R. Kelly and his accuser has been obtained by TMZ, and the context of the phone call pertains to Kelz wanting to meet up with the young woman. R. Kelly adamantly made sure that the young woman was alone, asked if she “was back,” claimed that he wanted to expand her mind and make her better person, and even mentioned the fact that the young woman’s parents share a disdain for him.
If a lawsuit is in the works, this taped recording could be used as some type of evidence but, the culture is hoping justice is served, and the truth comes to light.
