The relationship between the White House and Dr. Anthony Fauci has become publicly strained. President Trump and Dr. Fauci have not spoken in weeks, the doctor now reports to Vice President Pence, and presidential assistant Peter Navarro wrote a scathing opinion in USA Today to discredit Dr. Fauci, a world renowned infectious disease expert.

Donald Trump commented on his working relationship with Dr. Fauci and economic recover before boarding Marine One.
